OK...I'm going to try starting to post to my blog on a regular basis. I'm no Wendy Johnson, but I'll do my best to tell about my family, faith, daily life and knitting. This weekend the boys are at my parents and I'm working with Chuck at his store. I'm supposed to greet customers when Chuck and the others are busy with customers. However, today there were hardly any customers. I certainly hope and pray things pick up the next 2 days. I discovered something wonderful today. Everyday before the store opens Chuck and whoever he's working with, say a prayer for a successful day and to be a good example to their customers. It encouraged me! Meanwhile, I'm enjoying some time with Chuck but missing the boys - a lot!!
Right now I'm about to finish the baby blanket for my 2 day old nephew Kaden. It's the http://majorknitter.typepad.com/photos/patterns/oh_so_soft_baby_blanket.html. (I don't know how to link yet). I nearly ran out of yarn at the store today so I had to quit working on the blanket and I worked a bit on the last square of Kelby's blanket http://knitpicks.com/Retro+Throw+Pattern_PD50393221.html out of Knit Picks crayon in red, blue, and purple. And, for some crazy reason, I cast on and knit a few rows of http://knitfish.livejournal.com/51964.html. I'm using Simply Soft Heather in Truffle. When I finish the blanket I'll take a picture and post it the next time I post.
